Lens Creator Rewards
Lens Creator Rewards gives Lens Creators and Developers the opportunity to receive payouts for building Lenses on Snapchat. This program is designed to celebrate the most creative Lenses that help Snapchatters express themselves and have fun with friends, from creating imaginative new looks to fun interactive experiences. Start building today and you could start receiving payouts for your Lenses.
At this time, Lens Creator Rewards is open to Creators who meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be based in an eligible Country: Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Korea (the Republic of), Kuwait, Libya, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands (the), New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines (the), Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States

Ways to Monetize
Lens Creator Rewards offers multiple ways to monetize your Lenses:
Please note that you may only enroll your Lens in one payout option at a time.
Lens+ Payouts
With Lens+ Payouts, approved Creators can choose to mark select Lenses as Exclusive and they may be made available only to Lens+ and Platinum subscribers. Lenses eligible in Lens+ Payouts receive revenue share payouts based on the engagement they receive. To learn more about Lens+ Payouts, click here.
Top Performer Payouts
Top Performer payouts reward Lenses that become high-performing Lenses within the first 90 days after submission. Eligibility is based on the number of unique users who post a Snap (including Spotlight, Private Stories, and Public Stories) using your Lens in Qualified Regions. Once a Lens is submitted to a payout program, you will not be able to un-enroll it, however you can still delete it from Snapchat.
Receiving Lens Creator Rewards
If your Lens receives a payout, we will alert you in two ways:
- An email stating that your Lens has been selected to receive a payout
- A Snapchat notification informing you that you’ve received a payout

If this is your first time receiving Creator Rewards, you will need to set up your profile by clicking Set Up Cash Out in the Creator Rewards menu on Snapchat.
Within the Rewards Hub, you will see a notification informing you of your pending reward and the amount that has been rewarded. Rewards typically take 14 days to become available in your balance:

Q: Which types of Lenses do not qualify to receive rewards from the program?
Lens Creator Rewards are meant to inspire original creativity within the AR space. Any Lenses that violate our Moderation Guidelines will not be eligible to receive a reward. Additionally, Top Performer Payouts may not be issued to Lenses primarily based around:
- Basic color filters/styles applied to the camera
- Basic beautification/saturation/sharpness modifiers
- Static 2D images with limited user interaction
- Frames and collages that apply a 2D border or text around the camera
- Common repeatable characteristics and/or copies of other Lenses
Q: How do I know if I have received a payout?
