Submitting Lenses to Top Performer Payouts

Submitting your Lens to Top Performer Payouts begins in My Lenses. If you are unfamiliar with the submission flow, follow Submitting your Lens.

Before enrolling a Lens in any payout program, you must first review and accept the program terms and conditions:

Accept program terms

In order for your Lens to be considered for Top Performer Payouts, the visibility must be set to Public. Lenses marked as Hidden or Offline will be excluded.

After you’ve accepted the terms, you will see a monetization section with an opt‑in toggle for Top Performer Payouts. To enroll your Lens, toggle the opt‑in on, then click Submit and Publish.

Opt-in toggle

All submissions go through standard moderation to ensure compliance with our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Once your Lens has passed moderation, it will be considered published, live on Snapchat, and enrolled in Top Performer Payouts. Enrollment does not guarantee payout.

Once a Lens is submitted to Top Performer Payouts, you will not be able to un‑enroll it, however you can still delete it from Snapchat.

Published & enrolled

Eligibility for the program is subject to moderation approval. If your Lens is marked as ineligible, this means that some of its components violate our Submission Guidelines and/or our Terms & Conditions. If this occurs, double‑check your work, make changes, and re‑submit it.

When updates to the Program Terms are made, you will see the Top Performer Payout toggle automatically switched off; you will have to accept the updated Terms & Conditions and opt‑in again for new Lens submissions to be included.

Measuring Lens Performance for Top Performer Payouts

Within the Lens Details page, you can track the performance of your Lens under the Top Performer Payouts section:

Insights section

You will not see this Insights section while your Lens is Pending or marked Ineligible.

In this section, you can track both (a) how much time is left within the 90‑day eligibility period and (b) how many Qualified Posters you are away from a reward.

  • From the time you submit, your Lens will have 90 days to become a high‑performing Lens and meet the minimum requirement needed for a payout.
  • To become a high‑performing Lens, a newly submitted Lens must accumulate at least 15,000 Qualified Posters and meet all eligibility criteria.
  • A Qualified Poster is a unique user within a Qualified Region who has posted a Snap with your Lens to Spotlight, Private Stories, and/or Public Stories.

Payouts are based on engagement accrued over 90 days within the following Qualified Regions: United States, France, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and United Arab Emirates.

Once a Lens is outside of the 90‑day eligibility period (and you have not met the minimum performance requirements), you will no longer be able to receive rewards for that specific Lens.
